Day Porter IV / Janitor
Nashville, TN (Onsite) 
6 Months Contract

• Client is seeking an efficient, motivated and high attention to detail Day Porter for its Nashville HQ.
• Our ideal candidate is someone who will take pride in keeping the building beautiful, clean, and comfortable for all visitors.
• The position will be responsible for cleaning and servicing three floors in our Gulch Union location. Applicants should have some professional cleaning experience or be familiar with cleaning products and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Public areas are to be continuously policed and picked up throughout the day for removal of all litter, damp mopping spillages, emptying of trash receptacles, and removal of spots from wall and column surfaces.
• Inspect all public lavatories per shift for cleanliness and maintenance of an adequate supply of toiletries for replenishment of soap, hand towels, toilet paper, sanitary products.
• Cleaning window mullions and trash enclosures.
• Collecting trash from office and common areas.
• Thoroughly cleaning conference rooms, lounge areas, and public spaces.
• Make note or perform small needed repairs.
• Spot mop floors and place caution signs.
• Vacuum rugs.
• Wipe down window glass and elevator surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash.
• Replace lightbulbs.
• Assists events team in set up and tear down of meetings and events within the Nashville headquarters
• Must be flexible with hours and have weekend availability – (typically 40 hours/week)
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Position may consist of continual lifting and moving equipment and furniture.

Skills:  
Experience:

• 1 to 3 years' experience providing day porter or janitorial services.
• Experience with dilution and use of cleaning solutions for an office environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent customer service.
• Must thrive in a fast paced innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
• Highly detailed oriented.

Education:  

• Minimum Required: High school diploma.
