E-commerce and Merchandising Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce and Merchandising Manager to oversee and optimize our multi-channel product offerings. This individual will be responsible for purchasing and managing products for Amazon (FBM and FBA), and ensuring a cohesive and appealing product line across our 18 John Deere retail locations, website, Amazon, and Walmart channels. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both e-commerce and retail merchandising, with an understanding of customer preferences and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

• - Source and purchase products for Amazon (FBM and FBA) that align with our brand values and target markets.
• - Develop and maintain a consistent, high-quality product line across all sales channels, including in-store, website, Amazon, and Walmart.
• - Analyze customer demand, industry trends, and competitor offerings to curate a relevant and attractive product selection.
• - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and store teams to ensure cohesive product displays and promotional strategies.
• - Optimize product listings on e-commerce platforms for visibility and customer engagement.
• - Track and report on sales metrics, inventory levels, and profitability across all channels.
• - Work with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and stock replenishment for each channel.
• - Identify opportunities for product bundling, seasonal promotions, and cross-channel marketing strategies.
• - Ensure compliance with all e-commerce and retail merchandising guidelines and standards.
• - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field.
• - 5+ years of experience in e-commerce and/or retail merchandising, with proven success in multi-channel product management.
• - Strong understanding of Amazon (FBM and FBA) selling strategies and marketplace dynamics.
• - Experience with Walmart marketplace and e-commerce platforms.
• - Analytical mindset with strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• - Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• - Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
• - Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive base salary with a performance-based commission structure to reward successful sales and profitable product selection. The E-commerce and Merchandising Manager will receive a commission based on the volume and profitability of products sold across all channels, incentivizing proactive sourcing of high-demand and marketable products.
