• Your work will touch every corner of immigration law, and your efforts will directly change lives:
• Fight for justice: Representing clients in removal proceedings through bond hearings, individual and master calendar hearings, and other associated applications including asylum, withholding of removal and CAT, VAWA, T visas, U visas, marriage-based cases, SIJ, TPS and any other cases as required by caseload of the firm.
• Be the voice of the voiceless: Represent clients in Immigration Court in removal defense, custody and bond hearings, criminal removal matters, and contested removal cases.
• Craft powerful arguments: Prepare declarations, legal briefs, and memoranda that make a difference in the outcome of cases.
• Advocate on the ground: Appear with clients at USCIS interviews and Immigration Courts across the country and make in state court appearances for Special Immigrant Juvenile cases in Minnesota.
• Educate and empower: Participate in community know-your-rights sessions to help immigrants understand their options and rights.
• Champion case success: Maintain detailed client caseload reports and communicate progress with clients.
• Support when it matters most: Tackle other legal and administrative tasks assigned by firm management.

Qualifications:

• At SRR Law Group, we’re looking for more than just technical skills. We’re looking for a mission-driven attorney who shares our passion for justice and wants to grow with us as we expand nationwide.
• Licensed Fighter: You hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and are an attorney in good standing with the Minnesota Bar.
• Proven Advocate: You have three (3) to five (5) years of experience as an attorney in immigration law (family immigration, removal defense, asylum, etc.).
• Bilingual Hero (Preferred): You’re fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken), so you can connect with the people who need us most.
• Empathetic Communicator: You have outstanding interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and can make clients feel understood and supported.
• Organized and Fearless: You thrive in fast-paced environments, stay on top of a busy caseload, and never back down from a challenge.
• Tech-Savvy Professional: Experience with immigration platforms like Docketwise is a big plus!
