Are you an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a knack for creative, data-driven problem solving ready to lead the charge in online grocery delivery? As the AGL Distribution Center (DC) Supply Chain Manager, you will spearhead our DC capacity planning and Peak readiness, defining the optimal attributes to effectively remain instock for customers while managing DC fullness in coordination with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting in-depth analysis on DC overstock and inventory health.
• Designing efficient dock layouts to support increase DC volumes and delivery destinations.
• Determining strategic opportunities to improve operational efficiency and storage capacity.
• Integrating best-in-class technology to enable real-time tracking and seamless customer experiences.
• Managing capacity and inventory to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
• Driving continuous improvements to customer satisfaction and service levels.
This role requires a dynamic blend of analytical, technical, strategic, and operational expertise. You'll need to balance Under-the-Roof (UTR) and upstream (buying, forecasting) tradeoffs, lead business-critical workstreams, and manage our evolving network of facilities serving customers nationwide.

This role can be located in any of the following corporate office locations: Seattle (WA), Nashville (TN), Arlington (VA), Austin (TX), New York (NY).
Key job responsibilities
- Partnering with Retail, Operations, Product, Delivery and Supply Chain Execution teams to define capacity reporting, operational design, and operating/reporting models.
- Building complex models to determine future capacity needs for our network, to be used to communicate clearly to partner teams and senior leadership to enable strategic CapEx decisions.
- Developing tech requirements to ensure our fulfillment network can scale to address future challenges and growth.
- Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks).
- Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.).
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions.
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects.
- Work with program managers, business leaders and executive teams to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
- Engage other Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end to end outcomes for Amazon customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
