Job Summary/Objective

As a Warehouse Distribution Manager, this role will oversee inventory management and purchasing operations, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating timely replenishment orders. Schedule and optimize delivery routes for supplies and bulk chemicals to local dairy farms, making adjustments as needed to ensure efficient distribution. Manage warehouse operations while maintaining accurate records of product movement and inventory control.

Schedule: 6 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Inventory management, ending inventory on hand, monitor monthly purchases
• Teat dip mixing and distribution
• Chemical tank farm maintenance
• Place orders with vendors to replace inventory sold

Qualifications:
General Skills & Abilities needed to complete job successfully:

• General math and application to inventory management
• Computer operation with current ERP
• Spreadsheet application skills, Excel including pivot tables
• Knowledge of AS 400 system or current ERP

Experience : (required)                                  

• Warehouse management including workers                                     
• Knowledge of animal health products
• Record keeping skills
• Use of handheld scanners

Experience: (preferred)

• Employee communication skills
• Employee management and scheduling abilities
• General knowledge of logistics
• General knowledge of dairy industry
