Amazing Athletes is the premier, educational sports-based enrichment program in the country. We are looking to grow our team in the Kennesaw, Paulding, Powder Springs, Villa Rica, Douglasville, Lithia Springs, Austell and Mableton areas.

Classes range from 20 – 35 minutes (plus 15 minutes setup/breakdown.) You will teach the basic fundamentals of 10 different sports following each week’s Amazing Athletes curricula to ages 18 months to 9 years old. Our coaches will begin with training in the Amazing Athletes curriculum and methods, executing demonstrations in various childcare centers in the territory, gain insight on starting new classes, enrolling students and looking to consistently grow classes.

We are seeking experienced, FUN, energetic, early-childhood teachers and coaches to join our program. You will be the face of the company!

AMAZING ATHLETES COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arrive early and be prepared in advance to teach the class (includes commuting time.)
• Building strong relationships with parents, teachers, directors, and children on a daily basis.
• Teaching and conducting classes in an organized, structured, and fun manner.
• Making sure you are outgoing and engaging every child, in every class.
• Understanding responsibilities while the children are under your supervision.
• Maintaining up to date class rosters on a weekly basis.
• Completing evaluations and documenting observations of children
• Submitting accurate pay stubs to management for review.

DESIRED:

• Experience working with Tots and Preschool Age Children (preschool teachers, camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach, etc.)
• Passion for sports/fitness.
• Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.).
• First Aid Certification.
• Coaching Experience*

Requirements

• Must be willing to travel to local schools within the territory, specific to Austell, Mableton, Lithia Springs and Powder Springs areas.
• Must be available to coach in the morning (9-11a) AND afternoon (2-5p) on Weekdays (M-F.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be willing to undergo fingerprinting and GA comprehensive background check.
• Must be energetic, fun, dynamic, passionate, caring and most importantly, AMAZING!
• Must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation to get to and from class locations. Classes are held at different childcare centers/schools/rec centers throughout the territory and recur on a weekly basis.
• Able to provide long-term commitment (6-9 months) to develop within this growing company.
• Available to start and train for a few hours each week, immediately upon selection.

Benefits

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per with additional opportunities for bonus pay and advancement opportunities.
